I have a white board in my office that I use to keep track of story ideas to pitch magazines. When I realized I needed a separate board just to keep track of Springsteen ideas, I wondered if there might be a better way to deal with this. And looking at 1975 and the 50th anniversary of Born to Run, I realized that even if I pitched every magazine that still existed I'd still have way too many ideas that never stood a chance of getting assigned.

Now I no longer have an excuse.
